Maca Mug

A little bit Christmasy - this Maca Mug recipe from Megan May at Little Bird, is a sweet reminder of the classic Christmas nog, and a GREAT way to get your daily Maca intake. We love it creamy cold on ice.

What you will need:

  • 1 cup of plant milk, we love coconut or oat

  • 1 tsp maca root powder (available from the soul store)

  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg

  • 1/8 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 pitted medjool date

How to make:

  • Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth - around 30 seconds

For the cold version - pour blended drink over ice and sprinkle with cinnamon & nutmeg

For the warm version - continue blending until the milk starts to heat up, around 3-4 minutes. Alternatively, heat on the stove at a low temperature. Pour into a mug or bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon & nutmeg.
