Dandelion and Burdock is a traditional combination in Britain. Here small pieces of root are lightly roasted to caramelise their sap. Naturally caffeine-free, they make a refreshing drink with a distinctive flavour. It can be taken any time of the day, or after a main meal or as a nightcap. Both plants have similar properties and reinforce each other’s action. They will benefit everyone.

Dandelion and Burdock are known as common “weeds”; the first small with endless golden flowers, the other tall with huge leaves and hooked burrs, but both with powerful roots reaching deep down to draw nourishment from the earth. Their roots are dug in autumn, dried and roasted.
